Update on the Water Well

Thanks to the incredibly generous support of our donors, we’ve been able to not only fix our water problem, but work out a long term solution for adequate water for our entire campus! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! We know this is an amazing gift and we are so grateful! Thank you to everyone who made this possible.

A barrel of water after the well was flushed!

First we flushed the old well to get it working again. Thankfully we were able to remove the build up of silt and mud and the well is not functioning again just great!

Second, we drilled an additional well for the campus. We had not expected to be able to do this, but our donors were so generous! Our first attempt turned up dry, but the second attempt has produced a wonderful well with plenty of water.

Survey equipment used to search for water underground. Regretfully, it turns out our land is full of graphite which conducts electricity in a similar way to water. Our first attempt at drilling turned up dry.

The kids have enjoyed watching the whole process!

Third, we reconfigured our system to allow for each well to serve a portion of the campus. A fourth and final step will be to configure the switch valves in order for the wells to cover for each other if one of the wells develops a problem in the future.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for this program and supported it. May God bless you and cause springs of blessings to flow in your life. We have prayed from Day 1 when this problem started that the water would spring forth from the ground to bless our children and programs, now we extend this blessing to each of our donors. Spring up, O Well!
