Who’s Who at Circle of Hope: Our partnership with the Grace Alliance Church

From its inception, Circle of Hope International has held the strong conviction that building a compassionate community can only be done in partnership with local leadership in the villages in which we work.  To that end, Circle of Hope has partnered with the Grace Alliance Church, an indigenous church in Malawi. 

The Grace Alliance Church works alongside Circle of Hope to provide spiritual guidance and pastoral care for the children in our projects.  The pastors of the Grace Alliance Church are also key leaders on the ground in Malawi for Circle of Hope’s development projects. Allow us to introduce you to the leaders of the Grace Alliance Church.

Pastor Ernest Phiri is the senior pastor of the Grace Alliance Church in Namanda, and also serves as the Malawi Country Director for Circle of Hope.  Pastor Phiri works in partnership with Pastors Lungah, Mwatchipa, Ngwangwa, and Mwantisi, each of which serve churches in surrounding villages.  Pastor Mwatchipa is the pastor of the GAC in Chipoka and serves as the Circle of Hope project director at that site.
