All of these phrases describe the purpose of Circle of Hope International's Community Impact Teams. These teams are small groups of people from our Circle of Hope Community that come together to visit the Malawi project on a short term trip. The trips last two weeks and are a great opportunity to work directly with the people we are serving in Malawi.

We are currently forming teams for Summer 2009. We will be working with the Grace Alliance Church of Malawi to impact the Namanda Community, Dowa District, Malawi. We invite you to join us!

Destination:
Namanda Community Development Center Nama Village, Malawi, Africa

Costs:
In Country Costs: $900 -- 2 week stay (includes meals, lodging, project costs and visas)
Airfare: tickets are between $2000 and $2500. Our travel agents are looking for the best prices.
Safari: Each Community Impact team will be going on a 3 day safari as part of our trip. The safari costs $500.
Total costs for a two week trip: $3400 to $3900 depending on the cost of the airfare.

Accommodations:
Namanda Community Development Center is a primitive site. We will be camping and cooking outdoors. We have good outhouses and bath stalls. There will be plenty of hot water available for bathing everyday.
