Turn your personal passion into global
vision
How can you get involved in Circle of Hope International? All of us are passionate about something. Whether it is computers or orphan children or sewing, you can use your passion for ministry. We want to help you find a way to turn your personal passion into global vision.
Right now we have people doing a variety of things to make a difference. One group is knitting or crocheting sweaters for our children. Another group is collecting school supplies. An elementary school raised money to build our learning center. The possibilities are unlimited!
Here are some ideas of how you can impact the world:
1. Join a Community Impact Team on a short trip to Malawi: builders, teachers, doctors, nurses, pastors, normal people, teenagers, students, people who love children. We are currently forming teams to travel to Malawi in June and July of 2009.
2. Host an open house or a dinner party and invite your friends and family to learn more about Circle of Hope.
3. Seek out in kind donations such as medical supplies, clothing, shoes, school uniforms, school supplies, books, vitamins, first aid supplies, and seeds (tomato, onion, carrots, green leafy vegetables).
4. Use your artistic skills as a photographer, writer, musician, illustrator, graphic designer or painter to create art and music that will raise awareness, promote understanding and create a voice for our children.
5. Be a liaison with your local church. Help Circle of Hope find new opportunities to tell more people about our community.
6. Use your communications skills to help with newsletters, proof-reading, creating publication materials, up-dating web site (creating content), researching/writing stories, and graphic design.
7. Help develop curriculum for basic English and math as well as health care.
8. Use your writing and research skills to help us write grant proposals.
9. Provide administrative support with your accounting, office and detail management skills.
10. Tell all of your friends and family about Circle of Hope.
